Is climate change an excuse for a false economy or our lives are that boring, we're talking about the weather?

With subtle changes in our climate and maybe our short memories of drier summers and wetter winters, i fear the big pushers of climate change have something to gain from the fear campaign. how many solar companies, insulation, water regeneration, desal plants, prius manufacturing plants, (possibly the most terrible car ever built, can't see out the back window) and the wind factories. No doubt we could do it cleaner but who's going to pay for it. well it's a "if you will, i will" state of affair. honestly i'll say i'm not keen to pay if the guy next door isn't paying. we all work hard to enjoy our time as best we can and provide for our kids. maybe it's as easy as not being too greedy? i don't know but i never wanted to rule or damage the world, i just want to enjoy my little time here.
