TO ALL MARINES! HAS THE MARINE CORPS CHANGED?

I ask this question to any current and prior Marines that just separated from the service. I am currently a Soldier at the rank of E4 with one deployment under his belt. I don't ask this to offend anyone but I am asking this to inform myself for I am seriously considering joining the Marine Corps! I truly respect the Corps and the proud history that they have. First off let me tell you my Army experience, there is absolutely No discipline whats so ever! Nobody gets at Parade rest for NCO's except for myself and the 4 soldiers I have underneath me.The 1SG does not seem to be serious or strict at all. When the 1SG came out her office and saw a E5 sleeping at the desk all she did was take pictures and giggle (Yeap shes a female) WTF!! seriously that's not what i want in the military! I want Honor, Pride, Camaraderie, Espirit de Corps, and especially Discipline!!! My concern is that I will get out and see the same **** in the Marines that I experience in the Army. I will do combat arms in the Corps in a heartbeat but by the time i get out i will be at least E5 with 7 years in service... what should I do? Please help guide this young man Marines
