Discharge from national guard rsp?

hello i was in the national guard rsp 2 years ago i did not show up for a drill due to my wife going into labor. i left my phone in the car and by the time i got the phone i had 4 messages from my nco. he said i was awol from drill and i would be discharged.. that was 2 years ago and i never received any discharge paperwork that he said would be mailed to me. now im interested in joining the active army. my question is will this affect my enlisting or no because i never received any discharge papers???
