Is this disrespecting an NCO by extension? Army.?

NCO gave me (an E-4) delagation of authority (class leader). When the Training Instuctor gives me the class for dismissal everyone starts getting up to leave I haven't even said anything yet so I told them to sit back down. Some soliders got an attitude with me. So, next formation I want to tell them their disrespecting not only me but the NCO by extension can anyone help with referance material and is it really disrespecting the NCO who delagated me the athority?
