Cross training from sec-fo to contracting?

I am currently in tech school for security forces, after some research i found that contracting is more of my interest. I am in the reserves and am in a 6 year enlistment. I was wondering what its going to take for me to cross train into contracting asap. As well as when i return to my base who do I need to go talk to in order to get started on the application process for cross training. I am just curious to see if there are any suggestions as to what direction i should head in order to get started asap. And if there are any officer or nco contracter's right now that may have any other suggestions as far as what I should do to set my self up for success in the carreer field.
