If you are on a Profile and you have to take a pt test does it still count?

My husband had a pt test last week and failed. He has just gotten back from Poland and was not in shape. He has trouble with his knee, if he uses it to much... to much running it acts up. He has been on profile for it several times. This morning he went to sick call once again to get some answers to find out why his knee is hurting. He has to start going to physical therapy, and is on a no running profile for one month. He has another pt test tomorrow and his nco's are giving him trouble saying its not going to count, and that he only went to sick call to get out of the pt test. He still wants to take it, and it still counts, but he cant run he can only walk. What are the regulations on this? Will it count? We are trying to pcs out of here in a month, and they are doing anything they can to make it tough for him. We are trying to find the regulations on this to show them, but we cant. Thank you!!
