IS RETIREMENT FROM THE MILITARY A GOOD THING?

Ive been in 4 and got 3 left on this contract and i think about staying in at times cuz i like working with troops and preparing myself to be an NCO but people are kinda childish in the Army i mean even at 30sumthing they still act like kids and some of them are ******* E7's, but im still a POG will be 11B soon but could it be the best career move to do? i could retire at 38 hmmm... any vets got any and retiree's got any opinions?
