Question about dating at USAFA?

As a cadet it is kind of open to interpretation. You fall into a weird non existant zone where you aren't an officer and you aren't enlisted but there will be cadets who are dating people on both sides of the spectrum. When it comes down to it, probably neither are totally legal but it only becomes an issue if you are overly vocal about it. My wife's roomate was dating an enlisted guy until she was a junior and her Company Officer found out. Then she was told to stop seeing him. She played the game and "broke up" with him. After she graduated they got married. Keep it quiet and its likely that no one will know or care. If you manage to be a part of the 2% club and actually make it through all 4 years with this guy then you'll probably know whether or not you'll want to marry him before you become an officer.
